No, we do not offer rentals. Here at Scenic Rush, we are a tour company that offers a unique driving experience that puts you behind the wheel of four amazing exotic cars on the Sea to Sky Highway!
When do you operate?
How far in advance do I need to book?
Although we can accept bookings on short notice, subject to availability, we suggest booking as well in advance as possible. Weekends definitely book up faster than weekdays, so we recommend booking weekend tours as early as possible.
What are your eligibility requirements?
To participate in a Scenic Rush exotic driving experience, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- 24 Years of Age
- AND 7 Years of Driving Experience (includes Learner’s License)
- AND Possess a Valid Driver’s License from your Home Jurisdiction
(BCDL: Class 5 or better – Sorry, no ‘N’ permitted.)
Can I drive with an International drivers license?
Yes, you are permitted to drive in British Columbia with a valid foreign drivers license for up to six months from your arrival. If your license is not in English, it is recommended that you obtain an International Driving Permit in your home country. This is not a mandatory requirement for Scenic Rush, but may be required by a police officer if you were pulled over and they can not read your license.

How many people are in each group?
Do I get to drive the cars?
Absolutely! You will be by yourself in the cars, unless you choose to bring your own passenger.
How many cars do I get to drive?
In most cases, you will get to drive four exotic cars, unless you choose to share driving duties with your passenger.
How much time will I get in each car?
Each experience is different. On the Sea-to-Sky Experience, you will have about 15-20 minutes in each car. On the Whistler Experience, you will have about 45-60 minutes in each car.
How much time is provided for photo opportunities?
Typically, you will have about 10-15 minutes at each scenic location for photos. We will make sure you get all the beautiful photos you need to properly capture this experience of a lifetime and share it with all your friends and family.
Do you come along in the car with me?
No, you will be in the car by yourself, unless you choose to bring a passenger.
Can I bring my own passenger and can my child ride as a passenger?
Sure can! For a nominal fee, you can bring a passenger to share in the excitement. Children who are over 9 years of age OR over 4’9″ tall are eligible to participate as a passenger. The passenger side airbag on each vehicle may be disabled for children under 13 years of age.
Can my passenger take turns driving?
Yes, absolutely, as long as they meet our eligibility requirements for drivers. You will drive two cars each and be a passenger in the other two cars. On the Whistler Experience, you will still get to drive ALL FOUR cars, but you will drive each car for about 20-30 minutes each. Alternatively, the passenger may choose to only drive one car. How you distribute your driving time is up to you!
Can my friend follow along in his/her own car?
Although we are driving on public roads and we can’t control who decides to share the road with us, we would prefer to keep our focus on creating a safe and memorable experience for you and our other guests. If others wish to join us in their own vehicles, we recommend that they meet us certain stops along the way. We will provide the locations and estimated time of arrival.
If they do insist on following us, they must remain BEHIND the rear support vehicle at all times, as pulling up beside you in the exotic car to take photos causes too much distraction.
Can I just drive my favourite car for the whole experience?
No. All of our experiences are based on switching cars along the way.
Do I have to follow the group?
Yes. At this time, we do not offer the vehicles for rental.
What if I am separated from the group in traffic?
No problem. Just stay calm and drive normally. We will eventually reunite up the road or at the next stop. The lead guide will provide instructions over the radio if necessary.
Can additional stops on the route be made?
We have strategically planned the route very carefully for your maximum enjoyment and safety. We also have a specific schedule to keep, so unfortunately we are not able to add stops along the route. But we’re sure you’ll love the stops we have chosen!
What happens if I pass the lead support vehicle?
Passing the lead support vehicle is strictly forbidden, except in any situation that relates to your overall safety. If you pass the lead safety vehicle under any other circumstances, the activity will be terminated, you will lose your driving privileges and your Loss Damage Waiver coverage will be void. You will be instructed to pull the vehicle over at the next safest location, where arrangements will be made to have you transported back to the home base. If you fail to stop at the next safest location, the vehicle will be reported as stolen to the local police.
Do I need to know how to drive manual transmission?
No. All of our vehicles have F1-style paddle shifters and automated clutches. All vehicles also have a fully automatic mode. We recommend starting out from our home base in automatic mode, then switching to paddle shifters once we reach the highway.
Can I drive a car with manual transmission?
Yes, eventually, we will be adding vehicles to our fleet with a manual gearbox as an optional add-in.
How fast can I drive?
As your experience will take place on public roads, you will drive as you would every day on the street; safely with the flow of traffic. Our goal is to let you enjoy the exotic cars, but in a safe environment. As such, speed limits and all other local laws must be followed. It is the responsibility of each driver to pay attention to posted speed limits and avoid any violation tickets. Excessive speeding (40 km/h over the speed limit), speeding (1 km/h over) in school or playground zones and/or any other reckless driving will not be tolerated by Scenic Rush and may result in the termination of the Experience with no refunds.
Scenic Rush recommends driving at a safe speed, taking into consideration posted speed limits, weather, visibility, road conditions, traffic and any other variable factors that may contribute to your judgement of what constitutes a safe speed.
Who pays for the speeding tickets?
As the driver, you are responsible for any speeding tickets and any other violation tickets you receive while participating in a Scenic Rush Exotic Driving Experience. However, if your primary concern is about speeding tickets, then this experience may not be for you. Scenic Rush’s primary focus is driving beautiful cars on a beautiful stretch of highway and the euphoric rush that will give you. If you are simply looking for an opportunity to drive fast, you may want to consider a race track experience instead.
Will I get to feel the power of the cars?
Yes, there will be plenty of opportunity to feel the amazing power of the cars, but still within the rules of the road. We want you to enjoy the cars and there will be sections of the highway that will allow you to enjoy them a little more, even within the speed limit.
What if it rains?
Scenic Rush’s primary focus is your comfort and safety. We also want you to enjoy the experience as much as possible and understand that poor weather greatly diminishes that. If faced with rain, Scenic Rush will work with you to reschedule your booking at no cost. If you are unable to reschedule due to your travel itinerary, then we will offer you a full refund.

Will my credit card cover the insurance?
No, credit card rental insurance packages do NOT include luxury or exotic vehicles. We strongly recommend purchasing a Loss Damage Waiver through Scenic Rush to provide full coverage for the duration of your Experience.
What’s included in the price?
The price includes your experience, fuel and all gratuities.
What’s NOT included in the price?
The price does not include passengers and optional Loss Damage Waiver coverage.
Are there any taxes?
Yes, we collect 5% GST. There is no PST.
Are there any other hidden fees?
No, there are no other fees, such as tire wear.
